Valentines Day Craft

20130201-150532.jpg

Here’s What You Need

Celery Heart (the bottom with tops cut off)
Carrots with shapes cut into bottom
Cookie cutters
Paint
Paintbrush to mix colors
Tray to squeeze paint in
Paper
Drop cloth or plastic trash bag
Painters tape

It’s so easy! Just cover your table or floor with the drop cloth or trash bag, secure with painters tape and start stamping! The celery worked best when you use very little paint.

Goldfish Gift

20130112-081903.jpg

Today we are going to a 2 year olds birthday party! The theme is going to be Elmo. I thought a goldfish, like Elmo’s fish Dorthy, would be a perfect gift!

The tag is made with Cricut Cartridges: George and Basic Shapes, and My Life’s a Beach.

Creepy Message in a Bottle

20121017-195056.jpg

What You Need
Small glass bottle with cork top (I got mine at Michael’s for $2.00).
Tea dyed paper with written or printed note/invitation (print or write on the paper before you dye it).

What You Do
Cut the width of your note to the height of the bottle. Roll up the note and slide it inside the bottle. Try to arrange the note so it’s all visible without having to be removed.

Spooky Finger in a Box

20121017-192810.jpg

What You Need
Paper mâché craft box
Brown paint
Sponge
Craft moss
Fake body party (dollar tree has fingers and ears!)
Brown ribbon
Tea dyed paper with written or printed note/invitation

20121017-192920.jpg

What You Do
Use the sponge and brown paint on the outside of the box to create an aged look. Put moss inside the box and place your body part on top. (You can wrap the body part with ribbon for a nice touch). Cut out the note/invitation to the size of the inside of the lid. On the inside of the lid glue your invitation/note. Tie the ribbon around the box.

You can hand these out at work, put them in a package with other goodies, or wrap them in brown paper and mail off to a lucky friend!
